Siege Rules and Procedures

Most of the rules and procedures at this site are proposals.  For the official rules governing siege activities in the Midrealm, see http://www.midrealm.org/marshal/handbook/Siege.  However, these rules are being continually revised and this site provides a forum where people can review the new proposed rules and give their feedback on them before they become official.

Chief of Artillery Missive March 2008 The Pale is the official newsletter for announcing a change in policy in the Midrealm.  Officers of State and their deputies (like me) use this newletter to announce changes to the rules.  This March Missive contains changes to the Midrealm siege rules.
The proposed new Midrealm Siege Rules.  I hope to get these on midrealm.org by the start of the summer season.  Please comment on them as soon as possible.
A proposed siege engineer authorization process.  This won't become official until next year.  We'll try to push it this summer and see what the other siege marshals say.
If you want to know what siege marshals do and how to become one, then this is the page for you.
This is just the beginning of a list of active siege marshals in the Midrealm.  As I find out who they all are, this list will become more complete.

The material on this page may some day be put together into a Midrealm siege handbook.  If you have a contribution, then please email me at roderick@siegetheday.info.
